Red Light Sauna Therapy at Good Health

Discover the Healing Power of Infrared Sauna with Red Light Therapy

At Good Health Acupuncture, we’re excited to introduce our newest wellness offering: Red Light Sauna Therapy. This gentle yet powerful treatment uses therapeutic red and near-infrared wavelengths to support your body’s natural healing processes. In just 20–25 minutes per session, you can relax, recharge, and restore balance to both body and mind.

Unlike harsh treatments, red light therapy is non-invasive, deeply calming, and perfectly complements East Asian medicine practices such as acupuncture, herbal therapy, and massage.

How Red Light Sauna Therapy Works

Red light penetrates deep into the tissues, where it boosts cellular energy (ATP), improves circulation, reduces inflammation, and encourages natural detoxification. From an East Asian medicine perspective, this translates into moving Qi and Blood, clearing Heat, and supporting Yin-Yang balance.

Who Can Benefit?

Here’s how you can use red light therapy for common wellness goals:

Skin Health

  • Supports acne, eczema, psoriasis, and anti-aging care

  • Schedule: 20 minutes, 3–4x per week

  • Tip: Come with clean skin (no lotions or makeup). Think of the session as a way to clear external Heat and nourish Yin at the skin level.

Respiratory Support

  • Helpful for allergies, post-viral recovery, and asthma support

  • Schedule: 20 minutes, 2–3x per week

  • Tip: Sit upright and practice mindful breathing. Inhale deeply through your nose, engaging the diaphragm to draw Qi downward and clear Lung Heat via the Liver channel. Exhale fully through your mouth to release CO₂ and regulate tissue balance.

Metabolic Health & Detox

  • Supports weight management, detoxification, and energy balance

  • Schedule: 25 minutes, 3–5x per week

  • Tip: Hydrate well before and after. In East Asian medicine, this practice helps the Spleen and Stomach transform Dampness and mobilize stagnation.

Muscle Recovery

  • Ideal for soreness, post-workout recovery, and injury support

  • Schedule: 20–25 minutes, 3–5x per week

  • Tip: Position light over sore or tight areas. Imagine the warmth helping to move Qi and Blood, dispel stasis, and relax the sinews.

Sleep & Fatigue Relief

  • Beneficial for insomnia, stress, and burnout

  • Schedule: 20 minutes, 3–4x per week

  • Tip: Book in the late afternoon or early evening. Use the session as a meditation—slow nasal breathing, quieting the mind, and letting Qi descend to anchor Yang and calm Shen (spirit).

Important Reminders

  • Hydrate before and after your session

  • One clean towel is provided per visit

  • Stop if you feel dizzy, overheated, or unwell

  • Not recommended during pregnancy, for those with light sensitivity, or during acute illness
